if I wrote you a lullaby, would you listen to it? if you heard the melody that reminds me of you voice. reminds me of exquisitely tuned bells and a cello intertwined. would you listen if you heard the words that I chose? the brightest of them all, the most inspiring? ones that shone almost as brightly as your eyes do. if I wrote you a lullaby sweeter than sugar, the stature of which a secret admirer writes their love letters, would it make you smile? would my song lull you to sleep? would I get to see you your closed eyes, on resting skin of peach. if my lullaby expressed my love for you, would you love it to? if my lullaby started out slowly but blossomed into the infatuation I feel for you, would you treat it like the flower it is? caress it in your hands as the winds blew against its petals. releasing the story beneath the words. would you listen if I wrote you a lullaby? would you listen if I wrote your lullaby?
Lullabies resting on the closed eyelids of peach skin.
Music filling your head, like blood fills your heart, as air fills your lungs.
Words morphing into part of you.
Becoming a vital organ.
Receit my words from memory, it's as easy as breathing.

Tell me you hate it, tell me it sucks, make me cry, make me work harder.

although i think my work is crap, that does not mean you can claim it as your own.
